Site Engineer [ Oil & Gas ] Full Time

Job Purpose 

Provide project implementation oversight, supporting implementing stakeholders, monitoring progress  and compliance with HSEQ requirements to enhance successful realization of projects, meeting quality, safety, and efficiency standards

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring engineering and construction projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and documentation ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to engineering plans and specifications.
• Coordinate project activities, ensuring key stakeholders carry out their responsibilities on timely basis within the project activity plan
• Inspect the construction site, technical designs and drawings for accuracy. ensuring that project implementation meets engineering designs and specifications
• Review construction schedules, monitoring progress, and timely reporting of matters of concern, including change of scope, delays, obstacles, non-compliance, etc
• Liaison person between the Company and all stakeholders involved in the project construction, external parties and the company
• Inspects, evaluates, and advises on project work progress  and documentation for onward acceptance and/or approval by the Company
• Prepare various project reports, including standard and special reports asd may be required
• Performs any other activities relevant to the project implementation

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas industry
• Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety standards, and project management.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience working within Oil & Gas is an added advantage
• Sound understanding of Project management and implementation
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders
• Thorough understanding and application of HSEQ standards and regulatory standards
• A leader with a clear focus on results
• Flexible to travel most of times, including having a valid driving license
