Site Advisor [ Technical and Business Support ] Full Time

Job purpose

The Site Advisor is responsible for analysing problems and opportunities, recommending sales strategies to enhance sales efforts, and generating new business for the Company. This role involves providing onsite support, guidance, and expertise to customers to ensure high efficiency in the performance of CAT equipment. The Site Advisor will also advise on best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives

Main Responsibilities 

• Analyze problems/opportunities and recommend sales strategies to improve sales efforts.
• Implement actions of the quarter Site Advisor marketing and coverage plan.
• Cover all areas and segments through visits and upgrade the Market diversity scope.
• Cover all areas and segments applying technical/operational guidance, as well as visiting and upgrading the market diversity scope.
• Analyze and report significant competitive activities affecting sales & Market.
• Verify Competitor on ground, Points of strength and Weaknesses.
• Provide Technical expertise to assist PSSRs in their sales efforts.
• Track and close the Open opportunities with the Team & End user conducted from the Field Visits.
• Work with the End User Training Departments to improve Service & operational awareness.
• Work with the End User Training Departments to improve Product support customer awareness “Seminars”.
• Develop and maintain detailed information concerning usage and practices.
• Develop and maintain detailed pricing information to compete in the market.
• Conduct field follow-up and field tests on Mantrac products
• Submit Competitive Parts Reports and general competitive information about competitors

• Increase Sales: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate new business and increase revenue for Mantrac.
• Customer Support: Provide exceptional onsite support and guidance to customers, ensuring the optimal performance of CAT equipment.
• Problem Solving: Analyze customer issues and opportunities, offering practical solutions and recommendations to enhance equipment efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Best Practices: Advise customers on best practices for equipment use and maintenance, promoting long-term reliability and performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
• Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with Company’s  products and services.
• Training and Development: Provide training and development to customer teams, enhancing their skills and knowledge in operating and maintaining CAT equipment.

Requirements

• Engineering degree Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related
• 3+ years of experience, preferably working in a customer-facing role providing technical support
• Excellent communication skills, particularly high-level stakeholder management, and Consultative Selling Skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Excellent ability in business support
• Ability to evaluate, appraise, cost, and consider business risks
• Ability to develop business promotional plans and pursue them to completion
• Strong ability to deliver presentations
• Ability to work with a team and on the own initiative drawn by oneself
• Computer proficiency in the software applications of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Sales Force desirable, but training will be given
