Oversee the production process for the Company’s variety of PET products, ensuring core functions are well managed, including quality and inventory control, maintenance, compliance with HSE regulations and standards
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets efficiently.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all PET products meet company quality standards and industry regulations.
Process Optimization: Implement and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
Maintenance and Safety: Oversee equipment maintenance and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe and hazard-free working environment.
Inventory Control : Manage raw materials storage and usage to minimize waste and maintain adequate stock levels, and support procurement for timely supply
Cost Management: Monitor and control operational costs to ensure efficient budget utilization.
Team Leadership & Training: Supervise and train production staff to enhance skills, productivity, and compliance with company policies.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations
Reporting: Prepare and present operational reports, including production output, quality issues, maintenance schedules, and cost analysis.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Electrical or related
5+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the plastics industry
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of PET production processes, machinery, and quality standards
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices.
Experience in budgeting, cost control, and supply chain management.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Ms Office applications, (word, excel, ppt) and ERP systems.
Knowledge of environmental and industrial regulations
